Marcelien de Koning (born May 10, 1978 in Hoorn) is a Dutch sailor.[1] She is a three-time World Champion in the 470-class.
De Koning sails since 1990 and since 2001 she participates in the 470-class alongside Lobke Berkhout. Together they became World Champion in 2005 in San Francisco.[1] This performance earned them the title of Dutch sports team of the year. In 2006 in Rizhao and 2007 in Cascais they successfully defended their World titles.[1] In 2008 they only finished in fourth position in Melbourne, but their main goal for that year is success at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.[1]
